Seasonal
Farmworker: this is a person whose primary employment was in farmwork
on a temporary or seasonal (not year-round) basis. The farmwork must be
performed for wages and it can't be the individuals own farm. The individual
must have done farm work in the last 2 years before going to college.
Most agriculture counts,
dairy farms, and hay work. If you are not sure if you qualify please contact
me, because sometimes kids end up qualifying by just asking.

Migrant
Farmworker: this is (1) a farmworker
whose agricultural employment requires travel, keeping the farmworker
from returning to his/her permanent home within the same day; or (2) a
person who has participated in a Migrant Education program in the past.
This individual, or his or her parent/guardian, must have on file a Certificate
