| Joshua Hewlett, a sophomore CAMP student and mathematics major has been nominated for the Barry Goldwater Scholarship. The scholarship was created to encourage outstanding students to pursue careers in mathematics, the natural sciences or engineering. Four year institutions are eligible to nominate up to four students who are a sophomore or junior. To be considered for the scholarship, a student must be nominated by his or her college or university. SUNY Oneonta had their first recipient of this prestigious scholarship last year. |
