Philip Hosley, Andrew Liddle and Bruce Smith

Tuesday, October 27th

Forum between candidates for Otsego County Board of Representatives:
City District 12 - Cathy Rothenberger and Craig Gelbsman
City District 13 - Scott Harrington and Linda Rowinski
District 4 Town of Oneonta – Janet Hurley-Quackenbush and Rich Murphy

Position Statements – Candidates for Otsego County Treasurer:
Dan Crowell and Ed Keator

All these events will start at 7pm and end by 9:30pm, in the Craven Lounge in Morris Hall on the SUNY Oneonta campus. The SUNY Oneonta Creative Media Services TV staff and crew will broadcast the forums live on Public Access Channel 23 and rebroadcast them before Election Day, November 3rd. Written questions will be taken from live and TV-viewing audience members and a local media panel. The media panel will feature Sam Pollak, Editor of The Daily Star, Gary Wickham, Program Director, radio station WUOW, and Brett Moore, News Director, Central NY Radio Group. A phone number for TV-viewers will be provided on the screen the evening of the debates. The events will also be accessible for live stream viewing on http://www.oneonta.edu/academics/irc, then clicking on live stream and following the instructions.

Mission Statement

The League of Women Voters is a nonpart­isan political organization whose purpose is to encourage the informed and active partic­ipation of citizens in government. The LWV does not support or oppose candidates or political parties, but does support or oppose issues after study and member agreement.
