SUNY- Oneonta Undergraduate Philosophy Conference
Ninash Foundation Awards for Studies in Asian and Comparative Philosophy were presented to Daniel J. Bristol (Oneonta) and John R. Hartmann (Alfred University).
1997 AwardsFor a variety of reasons, most of which were practical rather than theoretical, best of conference awards were divided into two categories: papers by Oneonta State students and papers by students from other institutions. The winners were:
To share the excitement of the conference and encourage even higher standards of academic excellence for future events, Oneonta Philosophy Studies, published the fourteen best student papers, together with Professor Barnes' keynote address, in a volume titled Language, Ethics, and Ontology.
