Dan and Jason test the slingshot for the first time. At this point, our machine was incomplete but we all really wanted to smash a pumpkin. The pumpkin went about thirty feet before it was stopped by a tree. In this first test we only used one length of tubing on each side. We later modified our machine by using many shorter lengths of tubing to increase the amount of energy imparted to the pumpkin.
