Jason gets ready for our first launch. The goal of the competition was to have the most points in the end.

The rules of the competion were :
• the launchers must be human powered (by no more than two people)
• each team had a lane of 30 feet and the pumpkin must land within that lane to be counted
• each team were allowed a maximum of five shots
• the score for a fair shot was the distance times the weight of the pumpkin
• the best four fair shots were added for the final score
